Sunset Laguna Beach Engagement Photos, Crescent Bay

I met with Katie and Evan for their engagement photos at crescent bay in Laguna Beach just before the sun started to set. When they first arrived I knew it was going to be a lot of fun. They were both so giggly, playful, and just straight-up so happy, you could tell how excited they were! Katie & Evan have such a cute love story!

These two are middle school sweethearts! They started dated randomly in middle school and officially started dating for real in high school. They’ve been together for over 10 years now. Katie told me the fact that he was going to propose was no surprise. She was so happy that he still managed to surprise her! He proposed on a beach and followed with a surprise boho picnic set up with all their friends/family to celebrate. They are best friends with similar personalities who make the perfect couple. They’re getting married in Katie’s mom’s backyard next month and I could not be more excited!

They both knew they wanted engagement photos done in Laguna Beach. Crescent Bay is one of my favorite beaches in Southern California! It feels like a hidden beach cove, a super laid-back spot, and always gives me the warm/golden Southern California vibes. We got so lucky this evening because it wasn’t too crowded, the weather was perfect and the sunset was so glowy and gorgeous.

These two were so natural in front of their camera and made it so easy to capture their love. They wore the perfect neutral engagement photo outfits and brought a second outfit so we could get a diversity of photos. I loved the white ruffled engagement dress that she wore which matched so Perfectly at this beach location.
